About this festival
Pirate Beach Open Air takes place at Baggersee Giesen in Hochstetten near Karlsruhe on 29 August 2026. The one-day electronic music festival runs from 11 am until 1 am, transforming the lakeside into a beach setting with several headliners, dancefloors and food and drink outlets. A free shuttle bus runs between Hochstetten S-Bahn station and the site, with the final return bus departing at 1:45 am; monitored parking is available for a fee.
Third-phase tickets cost €48.50, while group tickets are available from €38 per person; VIP tickets cost €90. The site operates a token system: tokens can be purchased at the box office with cash, card or Apple Pay. Re-entry is not permitted, and admission is for those aged 18 or over only. The event is organised by ElectricHype GbR from Linkenheim-Hochstetten.

How do I get to the festival?
The festival can be reached by S-Bahn to the final stop at Hochstetten in Linkenheim-Hochstetten. A free shuttle bus runs to the festival site throughout the day, with a maximum wait of around twenty minutes. The last return bus leaves for the station at around 1:45 am.
Is parking available?
Designated, supervised parking is available near the festival site for a small fee.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry to Pirate Beach Open Air is permitted from the age of 18.
How can I pay on site?
At the entrance, cash can be exchanged for vouchers of equal value at the voucher desk. If you do not have cash with you, you can also buy vouchers with an EC- or credit card, as well as Apple Pay.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may bring items including backpacks, swimwear, beach towels, parasols and pool toys. Weapons, fireworks, pressurised containers such as deodorant or hairspray, and your own food and drinks are prohibited.
Is the site accessible?
Disabled people are admitted to the festival site free of charge on presentation of their disability ID.
Can I leave the site during the event?
Re-entry is not permitted; you may only leave the site briefly by arrangement with security, for example to store something in your car.
