About this festival
From 25 to 26 June 2027, Palmesus brings electronic music to Bystranda in Kristiansand. Its official website describes the beach festival as Scandinavia’s biggest beach party, welcoming almost 40,000 visitors to the city beach each year. EDM- and electronic-music acts perform across several stages, with a programme spanning major international names and well-known Scandinavian artists.
The two-day open-air event combines music, summer and the sea in the heart of the Norwegian coastal city. Alongside the performances, there are food stalls, beach activities and an extensive supporting programme. Tickets are sold through the official ticket page; the 2027 Early Bird category has already sold out. A named line-up has not yet been announced for this edition and will follow once confirmed by the organiser.

How do I get to the festival?
Palmesus 2027 takes place at Bystranda in Kristiansand on 25 and 26 June. Vy express is strengthening its coastal connections that weekend; route VY190 runs from Oslo via Stavanger and Haugesund to Bergen. The double-decker buses offer WLAN and charging facilities, with tickets available directly from Vy.
How old do I need to be to get in?
The Beach Pass area at Palmesus is for ages 18 and over.
When does the festival site open and close?
The Palmesus site opens at 3 pm on both festival days and closes at midnight.
