About this festival
Ostend Beach 2027 takes place from 9 to 11 July 2027 in Ostend on Belgium’s North Sea coast, combining electronic music with a relaxed beach atmosphere. Across three days, the festival presents techno, house and related electronic styles on five stages directly on the sandy beach. Since its launch in 2010, the event has grown from a one-day occasion into a multi-day festival experience.
The open-air setting on Ostend Beach creates a distinctive blend of festival and beach holiday, with views across the North Sea. The concept places an emphasis on sustainability, bringing together local beach culture with international DJs and live acts. Tickets are available through the official website. The organiser will announce the programme and further details on camping and travelling in due course.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
You can travel by train to Ostend station, followed by a short walk to the festival site. The Belgian Coastal Tram connects all coastal towns between De Panne and Knokke-Heist and stops close to the festival area. Numerous bus routes are also available, and you can travel by car.
Is parking available?
The organiser does not operate its own festival car park. Visitors can use the public car parks in the town centre, including Parking Zeedijk, Parking Station-Zee and Sky Parking. Free parking is available at Maria-Hendrikapark and on the Oosteroever.
How old do I need to be to get in?
The minimum age for entry is 16. This rule is strictly enforced: visitors under 16 will not be admitted, even when accompanied by adults.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Drugs, weapons, glass containers, aerosol cans, spray sun cream, balloons, large quantities of deodorant or perfume, fireworks, pyrotechnic items, umbrellas, tripods, walking sticks and similar items deemed dangerous are not permitted. Bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed. Medication is only permitted with a valid medical certificate.
Is the site accessible?
The festival site has sandy ground, which can make wheelchair access difficult. The organiser is committed to accessibility; visitors with questions or problems can contact the organiser by email.
Can I leave the site and return later?
Re-entry is possible if you have a valid reason. However, after midnight on Friday and Saturday, and after 10 pm on Sunday, leaving means you cannot return.
