About this festival
From 2 to 4 July 2027, the Slavic hill fort in Menkendorf, on the banks of the Rögnitz, becomes an open-air setting for Psytrance and Progressive Trance. Three stages with high-quality sound design are joined by chillout and downtempo areas, while Techno, Goa and HiTech also feature in the programme. Surrounded by the nature of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the festival atmosphere is shaped by meadows, old forests and unspoilt landscape, alongside light art and immersive visuals.
Beyond the stages, workshops, healing spaces and art installations add to the visitor experience. Those wishing to stay overnight can camp directly in the heart of nature and spend the entire weekend at the festival site. The event centres on a close-knit, respectful community without dividing barriers, under the open sky. Tickets are available from 90 euros, with the organiser set to announce further acts and programme details gradually.
Orange Sun brings together several electronic styles in an intimate setting, aimed both at Psytrance fans and anyone who values nature and community.
Camping
Free festival camping is available to visitors in the natural surroundings of the Slavic hillfort at Menkendorf. You can pitch your tent directly by the Rögnitz, allowing you to spend the festival weekend right on site.
