About this festival
MS Dockville turns twenty in 2027 and marks its anniversary in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg on 20 and 21 August. The music and arts festival sits directly on the Elbe in the heart of the harbour, just a few minutes from the main station by S-Bahn. More than 100 acts, bands and DJs perform across ten stages, from the large Mainstage to hidden club spots, with a programme spanning indie, hip-hop, pop and electronic sounds. Around 25,000 guests per day can also enjoy art installations, readings, workshops and creative formats.
Visitors can stay at the campsite directly next to the site. A camping upgrade is available as an additional ticket, while dedicated pitches are provided for motorhomes and vans; showers and toilets are free to use. As there is no parking at the festival site, travelling by S-Bahn to Wilhelmsburg and walking via the white bridge over the Veringkanal is recommended.
Advance sales have begun, with a weekend ticket costing 129 euros in the first price tier. The first acts for the anniversary edition will be announced in the coming months.
Camping
The campsite is located right next to the festival site. An additional camping upgrade is required to stay overnight in your own tent, while separate pitches are available for campervans and motorhomes. Showers and toilets on site are free to use.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
The site is located at Schlengendeich 12 in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, around ten minutes from the main station by S-Bahn. Take the S3 or S5 to Wilhelmsburg, then walk across the Veringkanal pedestrian bridge to the site. For the journey back, a shuttle bus runs from Schlengendeich/Schluisgrove from 11 pm to 4 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Is parking available?
There is no parking at the festival site, so arriving by car (PKW) is not possible. A drop-off area for passengers is located at Schluisgrove. Bicycles can be left in the signposted paid bicycle parking areas (Fahrradhotel).
How old do I need to be to get in?
Children under 12 are not permitted on the festival site. Children and young people aged 12 to 15 may only enter when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or an authorised supervising adult, who must carry written permission to attend. Young people aged 16 or over may enter unaccompanied until midnight.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Glass bottles, confetti, large sound systems and generators are not permitted on the campsite. Gas canisters for camping stoves of up to 450 grams are allowed. You may bring your own food; barbecuing is only permitted in the designated barbecue areas, and ground-level barbecues are not allowed.
Can I leave the site and return later?
With a Cliquenticket, re-entry is possible at any time.
Are there pitches for motorhomes?
Bulli tickets with a pitch on the campsite are available for vans, motorhomes and estate cars up to 3.5 tonnes and 6.5 metres long. Each person also needs a weekend ticket and a camping upgrade. There are no electricity hook-ups. Bulli tickets for the 2027 edition are not yet available.
