About this festival
MOSTRA Barcelona returns for its sixth edition in March 2027. The independent, compact festival for avant-garde and experimental electronic music takes place from 11 to 14 March across two venues in the Catalan capital. Thursday opens with the opening ceremony at the Casa Montjuïc cultural centre in Poble-sec, before the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Pavilion hosts the festival from Friday to Sunday. Across three nights, the programme brings together experimental sounds, local artists and international acts.
The sixth edition deliberately positions itself as a counterpoint to the city’s large commercial festivals. Alongside the music programme, the festival week includes stands from local collectives, panel discussions and a dedicated radio programme.
Access to all three nights at the Olympic Pavilion is available via the Olympic Pass, currently priced at €139 in its second sales phase. Sales are handled through Resident Advisor; tickets for the opening ceremony and individual nights will follow in January.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
Both venues are in Barcelona, a short walk from the Metro. Casa Montjuïc is served by Paral·lel station (L2, L3; a two-minute walk) and buses D20, D50, H14, V11 and X3. Vall d'Hebron Olympic Pavilion can be reached via Vall d'Hebron Metro station (L3, L5; a four-minute walk) or buses 27, 76, H4 and M19. Public transport is the quickest and most affordable way to travel.
Is parking available?
No parking is provided at either festival venue. Casa Montjuïc has a street-level entrance and no dedicated car park, while no space can be guaranteed at the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Pavilion. Carpooling and shared taxis are also suggested as sustainable alternatives.
