About this festival
On 29 May 2027, Riedholz near Solothurn will once again host Mission Festival. For the fifth time, the Attisholz-Areal, a former industrial site directly on the River Aare, will become a focal point for the Swiss club music scene. This indoor and outdoor day festival brings together electronic music, an industrial backdrop and a distinctive festival culture in a compact one-day event.
Techno and house shape the programme across several indoor and outdoor stages. Its location in the canton of Solothurn makes the festival easily accessible for visitors from Switzerland and neighbouring countries alike. Tickets are available through the official advance sales outlets. A detailed timetable and further programme highlights will be announced in good time before the event. With every edition, Mission Festival further cements its place in Switzerland’s electronic music festival calendar.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
The best way to travel is by train to Luterbach-Attisholz station, around one kilometre from the festival site and within walking distance. From Olten, travel to Deitingen station and take the replacement bus to Luterbach-Attisholz. From Solothurn, take bus route 9 to Luterbach, Bahnhof Nordseite. Public transport is recommended.
Is parking available?
Paid parking is available around the site. Parking costs 10 francs and can be paid by card or Twint. Please follow the instructions of the traffic management team. Travelling by public transport is still recommended.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Admission is strictly for ages 16 and over. No exceptions apply. Please have valid ID ready at the entrance.
Will tickets be available at the box office?
Tickets are still available at the day box office, although advance purchase is strongly recommended. The box office charges a higher price and has only a very limited allocation for the afterhour. Entry via the box office is limited and operates on a one-way-entry basis. ID is required.
How can I pay on site?
Cash, card and Twint are accepted at all bars, food stalls and in the merchandising zone. Euros are also accepted. Payment in the car park is by card or Twint only.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Checks are carried out at the entrance. Glass bottles, cans, sharp objects and deodorant sprays must not be brought in. There are plenty of toilets and portable toilets on site, as well as a limited number of lockers.
What happens in bad weather?
The festival is held outdoors, with an indoor section. In poor weather, suitable clothing is recommended; in good weather, bring sun protection. Don’t forget to drink enough. Free drinking water is available at the toilet trailers.
Is the site accessible?
Most of the site is accessible at ground level. However, parts of the site are on gravel, which is not ideal to navigate.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Dogs and other pets are not permitted. The festival site is simply too loud for them.
