About this festival
M'era Luna Festival returns to Hildesheim-Drispenstedt Airfield on 7 and 8 August 2027. The first ten acts confirmed for the edition are VNV Nation, The Sisters of Mercy, Feuerschwanz, Schandmaul, Suicide Commando, Diary of Dreams, Assemblage 23, Frozen Plasma, Das Ich and Alienare.
Visitors can stay on the campsite in their own tent. A separate Wagenburg area is available for motorhomes, caravans and roof tents; in addition to the relevant pitch ticket, each person needs a Festival Pass.
Advance sales for 2027 have begun. Tickets are available through the official shop.

Camping
You can stay on the campsite in your own tent. Motorhomes, caravans and roof tents are permitted in the separate Wagenburg area, among others; in addition to a pitch ticket, each person needs a festival pass.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
Hildesheim station can be reached by ICE, S-Bahn and regional train. A paid festival shuttle runs from the station forecourt to the “An der Scharlake” stop at the festival site, with signs on site showing the way.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Children under six will not be admitted. Minors aged six and over may attend the festival only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or by an authorised adult with written permission and a copy of the parent or guardian’s ID. Legal restrictions on alcohol, tobacco and cannabis apply.
What happens in bad weather?
In sunny weather, sunscreen, headwear and plenty of water are recommended; free drinking-water points are available on site. In the rain, wellington boots are useful, and rain ponchos are not sold at the festival. In severe weather, your car is the safest place to be.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Dogs are not permitted on the festival site; assistance dogs cannot be brought in either.
