About this festival
On 13 and 14 August 2027, Mácháč Festival will once again transform Pláž Klůček on the shores of Máchovo jezero near Doksy into a major open-air stage for electronic dance music. Set in a sandy lakeside bay in the Liberec Region, the festival brings together house and techno, alongside drum & bass and hardstyle across several stages. Three stages shape the two-day programme, drawing visitors from across the Czech Republic and abroad to the lake in the height of summer. Entry is reserved for guests aged 18 or over, with the site bringing music together directly with water and woodland.
Two-day tickets and VIP passes are available through the official ticket shop, and the 2027 edition begins on the afternoon of 13 August. The beach festival is regarded as the traditional finale to the Czech dance season, bringing together international acts from the house and techno scene at one of the country’s most popular bathing lakes. Further artists for the forthcoming edition will be announced gradually.
Camping
Festival-goers stay at Zeltplatz Klůček (kemp Klůček), directly on the shores of Máchovo jezero, where the open-air festival takes place on the sandy plateau. On Friday, admission tickets can be exchanged for festival wristbands at the campsite, which is also where on-site ticket sales begin. The site is right by the lake, with access to the beach area. Campsite facilities are available throughout the stay.
Questions & answers
Is parking available?
As in previous years, parking is available in designated parking areas. Parking tickets are paid for at machines and are charged in line with current municipal parking rates.
How old do I need to be to get in?
The festival is strictly for those aged 18 or over. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to enter the site, even when accompanied by a parent or another adult.
How do I pay on site?
The entire site is cashless. Visitors receive a chip wristband at the ticket check, which can be topped up and used for all payments. Top up your credit online in advance to avoid the activation fee charged on your first top-up on site.
Can I leave the site during the festival?
With a two-day standard or VIP ticket, you can leave and re-enter the site as often as you like at any time. With a day ticket, you may leave on the relevant day only until 9 pm; re-entry is permitted afterwards.
