About this festival
Liquicity returns to Lake Geestmerambacht in North Holland in summer 2027. From 23 to 25 July, the recreation area near Noord-Scharwoude becomes a gathering point for the drum & bass scene. The festival is known for the genre’s melodic, flowing sounds, pairing its programme with a relaxed, communal atmosphere. International acts from across the drum & bass spectrum shape a weekend ranging from soulful liquid sounds to driving beats.
The lakeside site provides space for the festival weekend and additional offerings. Tickets are available via the official website, with presale handled by the festival’s ticketing partner. The site can be reached via the nearby towns of Oudkarspel and Noord-Scharwoude, and is easily accessible by car and public transport from within the Netherlands. The organiser will gradually publish further details of the 2027 programme on its website.
Camping
The campsite at the festival site is a permanent part of Liquicity Festival. Camping access is included with every festival ticket; an additional Thursday Access Ticket is only required for early arrival on Thursday. Options include a Silent Campground, a camping area for solo travellers and pre-pitched accommodation, alongside separately ticketed pitches for motorhomes and caravans.

How do I get to the festival?
The festival takes place at the Geestmerambacht recreational site, around 40 kilometres north of Amsterdam. You can travel by car, bike, shuttle bus or the new express bus; the navigation address is Festivalweg 1, Oudkarspel. A shuttle bus connects the site with Alkmaar station, around ten kilometres away, and a return ticket costs €10.99. The campsite can be accessed from Thursday 22 July with the additional Thursday Ticket.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Liquicity Festival 2027 is open to those aged 18 or over only. ID may be required on entry. Anyone who is not yet 18 when the festival begins will not be admitted, even if they turn 18 later that year.
Will there be tickets available at the box office?
Regular ticket sales for Liquicity Festival 2027 begin on 22 October at 11:00. Individual day tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be released on 1 March 2027. Refunds are not available; resale is handled through the festival’s official resale platform, and instalment payments are not offered.
What happens in bad weather?
For the festival weekend, Dutch weather has it all. The event recommends packing for warm days (light clothing, sun protection and a towel), as well as cooler nights and rain (a jacket and rain gear).
Are there pitches for motorhomes?
There is a dedicated motorhome area by the festival meadow, which must be booked with a separate campervan ticket. Motorhomes must be shorter than 7.5 metres, and tents beside the vehicle are not permitted. A ticket option with an electricity hook-up is available. Sleeping in a car on site is not permitted.
