About this festival

The fifth edition of LACUNA Festival transforms Ochtrup in the Münsterland region into a site for electronic music from 20 to 23 August 2026. More than 50 artists will perform across several stages, including the Dreamstate Stage and the Pressure Stage, designed as a 360-degree area. Italobrothers, Audiotricz, Old Jim, Karamustan, Lee Ann, Ployzz and Fabiasco are among the acts on the programme, covering EDM, hands-up and hardstyle. Deliberately intimate in scale, the festival brings the crowd closer to the decks than many large-scale events.

The festival includes an open-air camping area, with weekend tickets also available with camping. Food stalls and the 360-degree stage provide variety between sets. Ochtrup can be reached via Rheine and the surrounding motorways. Further acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Questions & answers

How do I get to the festival?

The festival site is at Schützengelände Weiner in Ochtrup, Münsterland. By car, take the A31 to the Ochtrup exit and follow the signs. Ochtrup railway station is just 1.4 kilometres away and within walking distance. A shuttle bus also runs from Rheine, although places are strictly limited.

Is parking available?

Parking is free for LACUNA visitors, and the car park is an unpaved meadow. Vehicles with a maximum gross weight of 3.5 tonnes are permitted; tuned or lowered vehicles are not. Sleeping overnight in a car in the car park is prohibited.

How old do I need to be to get in?

The festival is strictly for ages 18 and over, with no exceptions – younger guests will not be admitted, even when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Valid photo ID is required at the entrance, and spot age checks will be carried out.

Will there be tickets available at the box office?

A box office may be available on site, but only if tickets remain available in advance sales. Early ticket purchase is recommended.

How do I pay on site?

The festival site uses a token currency: buy tokens at the token stations with cash or card, then use them at all bars and food trucks. You can return unused tokens each day until shortly before the festival closes; after that, they expire.

What can I bring, and what is prohibited?

Items permitted include an empty refillable water bottle, small bags, sun cream, a rain jacket, medication and power banks. Glass bottles, cans, plastic containers and hydration packs, drugs, weapons, pyrotechnic items, professional cameras, drones and pets are prohibited; bag checks will take place at the entrance.

What happens in bad weather?

The festival takes place in all weather conditions, whether it is sunny, rainy or windy; severe storms may lead to short-notice programme changes. A rain jacket, sturdy footwear and sun protection are recommended.

Is the site accessible?

The site is entirely level, and an accessible toilet is available. Companions of guests with a severely disabled person’s ID card marked B can enter the site free of charge if registered in advance; there are no wheelchair platforms at the stages.

Can I leave the site during the festival?

With a weekend ticket including camping, you can move freely between the camping area, car park and festival site at any time. With a weekend ticket without camping, re-entry is permitted once per day; day tickets do not allow re-entry.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Dogs and other pets are not permitted at the festival, so please arrange care for them at home.

Are there pitches for motorhomes?

Motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers and camping trailers of any kind are not permitted at the festival.
