About this festival

KuMuKu Festival takes place from 11 to 13 September 2026 at Kapfwacht in the Emmental forest near Eggiwil. This three-day gathering of Forest People brings together Psytrance, Zenonesque, Dark Progressive, Nightpsy, Forest and Darkpsy at a forest site with capacity limited to 450 people. More than 25 international and local acts will play the dancefloor on an Audio-Performence sound system. Festival-goers camp directly on site, with tent camping included in the ticket price.

The programme features artists including Ataraxium, Baldinger, Electrypnose, Fabelwesen, Forest Frequencies, Jakanatura, Kaliiraa and Krapul. Further acts such as Living Frequencies, Manvantra, Mindgrinder, Molunar and Originz complete the line-up. A shuttle service links Signau station with the festival site. On site, there are food stalls, a bar, a market with art stalls and drinking water. Payment is accepted in cash, by card or via Twint. The festival values respect for nature and the community, following the Leave-no-trace principle.
