About this festival

The twelfth Heidewitzka Festival takes place from 1 to 3 July 2027 on the Lange Heide near Hildburghausen in southern Thuringia. Set on the site of a former military training ground, forest clearings and meadows become a large electronic music site, with more than a hundred acts spread across ten stages. The programme spans techno and house, Tekk and Hardtekk, Frenchcore and Hardstyle.

The festival has a separate campsite, accessible only with an additional camping ticket; arrival is possible from Thursday. Tekkschuster and Tekkstreetboyz are the first acts confirmed for the 2027 edition. The site is conveniently located near the A73 motorway, while Hildburghausen station is the starting point for travelling to the festival. Questions & answers

How do I get to the festival?

The festival takes place in the Lange Heide in Hildburghausen and is easy to reach via the A73 towards Coburg/Suhl; depending on where you are travelling from, the A71, A72 or A68 also lead onto the A73 for the final stretch. The site is only a few minutes from the motorway. By train, travel to Hildburghausen station, then take a taxi for the remaining few minutes.

How old do I need to be to get in?

Entry is permitted from the age of 16. Visitors aged 16 or 17 require parental authorisation appointing the accompanying adult as their supervisor and must be accompanied by an adult supervisor; each supervisor may accompany no more than two young people.

How do I pay on site?

The festival is entirely cashless, so cash payments are no longer accepted. You pay using a credit chip, which you hold against the payment terminal to confirm your purchase. There are twelve top-up stations on site: six for card payments and six for cash.

What can I bring, and what is prohibited?

All types of glass bottles are prohibited on site. Drugs are not tolerated; the festival places importance on mutual respect and following the instructions of security staff.
