About this festival

Garbicz Festival 2027 opens on 29 July in the nature reserve surrounding a lake near the village of Garbicz. For five days, until 2 August, the site in the Lubusz Voivodeship—around two hours by car from Berlin—becomes an open-air celebration of electronic music. Techno, house and ambient shape the programme across meadows, clearings and the woodland edge. Since 2013, the festival has brought together international festival culture and the site’s natural surroundings.

Entry is for 18 or over only. Travel options include the Bassliner bus from Berlin Ostbahnhof, rail to Rzepin or driving; cars require a parking pass booked in advance. Hire bikes are available on site, while personal bicycles and dogs are not permitted.

Camping is part of the festival experience: alongside the on-site camp, Silent Camp and Village Camp are available. Motorhomes require a separate camper ticket in addition to the festival pass. Tickets are released in phases; further programme details and acts will be added once confirmed for this edition.

Camping

Camping is available directly on site, with the On-Site Camp, Silent Camp and Village Camp to choose from. Motorhomes require a separate camper ticket in addition to the festival pass.

Questions & answers

How do I get to the festival?

The festival can usually be reached from Berlin in under two hours; the Bassliner bus or train is recommended. The nearest railway station is Rzepin, with a journey of around 20 minutes from there to the festival. The festival address is Garbicz 32F, 66-235 Torzym, Poland. Please bring photographic ID.

Is parking available?

If you are travelling by car, you will need to book a parking permit in advance. Wild parking is expressly prohibited throughout the site and surrounding area, and sleeping in your car is not permitted.

How old do I need to be to get in?

Garbicz Festival is an adults-only event: anyone under 18 is not permitted anywhere on the site, including the offsite camping areas Silent and Village Camp.

How do I pay on site?

The festival is cashless, with payments made via the festival wristband. The festival currency is called Szunny, with 1 Szunny equal to 1 zloty. Money can be loaded onto the wristband before and during the festival, then transferred back afterwards.

What can I bring, and what is prohibited?

You may bring your own reusable water bottles. The tap water is safe to drink, and water stations serving filtered drinking water from the site’s own wells are available around the grounds.

Is the site accessible?

Due to the natural terrain, the festival currently has no infrastructure for people with disabilities. Access is therefore described as not accessible.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Animals of any kind are expressly not permitted at Garbicz Festival, either on the festival site or at the offsite campsites Silent and Village Camp.

Are there pitches for motorhomes?

Motorhomes and campervans require a separate camper ticket, which does not include festival admission. Additional tents next to the vehicle are not permitted. Caravans also require a parking permit in addition to the camper ticket and may not remain with the towing vehicle.
