About this festival
Vienna’s Donauinsel becomes Austria’s biggest 80s stage on 23 July 2027, as Forever Young brings together eight internationally renowned acts from the decade at the open-air site near the Donaubrücke. Holly Johnson, Alphaville, Sandra and Cutting Crew are joined by Cock Robin, John Parr, Jason Donovan and F. R. David. Disco, synth-pop and the decade’s biggest radio hits shape the evening, followed by an afterparty at Prater DOME with free admission until 12:30 am.
Doors open one hour before the start. The festival is for guests aged 16 or over; younger visitors may attend only if accompanied. There is no re-entry once tickets have been validated, and food and drinks brought from outside are not permitted. Rucksacks larger than DIN A4 are not allowed. Tickets are available via Wien-Ticket, Oeticket and Raiffeisen.

How do I get to the festival?
The festival site is centrally located in Vienna and is easy to reach by public transport. Donauinsel is directly by the Donaubrücke, at the U6 station or the Handelskai or Neue Donau S-Bahn stations in 1210 Vienna.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry to Forever Young is permitted from the age of 16. Children and young people under 16 may only enter the site when accompanied by at least one adult with parental responsibility.
Will tickets be available on the day?
Tickets will be sold at the box office, which opens one hour before the event begins and holds an allocation for last-minute visitors. The box-office price will be announced shortly beforehand; advance tickets are cheaper.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may not bring your own food or drinks. Pets, weapons, drugs and laser pointers are also prohibited, along with bulky or dangerous items. Backpacks and bags are permitted only up to DIN A4 size.
Can I leave the site and return later?
Once your event ticket has been validated, re-entry is generally not possible.
