About this festival
Docklands Festival 2027 takes place in Münster on 12 June 2027. The day-and-night electronic music festival brings together five open-air stages at Hawerkamp, six clubs and a total of nine club floors. Around 100 national and international acts from house, techno, hard techno and trance will perform. The festival starts as an open-air event during the day and seamlessly continues into a club night.
Since 2010, Docklands has stood for electronic music spanning underground acts and scene heavyweights. During the day, Hawerkamp is transformed into a festival site by the water, with individually designed stages and modern sound systems. As the sun goes down, the festival moves into the surrounding clubs for a continuous club night across nine club floors. The venue is located on Lippstädter Straße in Münster. Advance tickets are available from €49.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
From Münster Central Station, follow Lippstädter Straße to the festival site. Turn right after the Cineplex cinema; do not continue straight on towards Hawerkamp.
Is parking available?
There are two multi-storey car parks nearby: the car park at the Cineplex cinema (Lippstädter Str. 1) and the car park by the Stadtwerke (Kiesekamps Mühle 1). Both are a 2–3 minute walk from the festival site.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry to Docklands Festival is for those aged 18 or over. A valid photo ID is required and must be shown on request.
How can I pay on site?
As a rule, payment throughout the festival site is cashless by debit card, credit card, smartphone or smartwatch. Some food partners only accept cash, so you are advised to bring some with you. There are no cash machines on site.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Small bags up to the size of a gym bag or small handbag are permitted. Larger bags and backpacks with a capacity of 10 litres or more are not allowed. You may not bring your own food or drinks. Small foldable umbrellas and travel-size sunscreen are permitted.
What happens in bad weather?
In a thunderstorm, the safest place is in a car, and guests should keep away from trees and branches. Guests are asked to listen for announcements, use the emergency exits and leave the site promptly.
Is the site accessible?
Accessible toilets are available on the festival site. The open-air site is largely level. People with a severely disabled person’s pass marked B may bring one companion free of charge.
Can I leave the site and come back in?
You can leave and re-enter the festival site at any time. Until 10 pm, access is only via Lippstädter Straße; after that, entry is exclusively via Hawerkamp. A Night Check-In is available after 10 pm for guests arriving later.
