About this festival
Caprices Festival celebrates its 25th edition in 2027, bringing electronic music to 1,600 metres in the Gstaad ski area in the Bernese Oberland. The winter edition takes place across two consecutive weekends, from 12 to 14 and 19 to 21 March 2027, at Eggli mountain station. This boutique festival combines international artists from techno, house and electronic club culture with an alpine setting of snow-covered peaks and modern mountain architecture.
The distinctive location high above Gstaad defines the festival’s character. Several stages are integrated within and around the mountain station, offering panoramic views of the Alps. Accommodation is available in nearby hotels, chalets and lodges. Travel is via the winding road to Gstaad or by train to Gstaad station, where shuttle buses run to Eggli valley station. Caprices has established itself as a fixture on the international festival calendar, attracting audiences who want to combine electronic music with exceptional natural surroundings.

How do I get to the festival?
Caprices Festival takes place at Eggli Station, 1,600 metres above sea level above Gstaad, Switzerland. Free shuttle buses run throughout the festival nights from Eggli valley station to the surrounding villages of Gsteig, Lauenen, Schönried, Zweisimmen and Rougemont. On Fridays and Saturdays, a night train departs Gstaad at 3:35 am, travelling via Saanen and Rougemont to Montreux. Gstaad can be reached directly from Montreux on the MOB GoldenPass railway in around 1 hour 20 minutes. Overnight guests receive the Gstaad Card, which provides free public transport in the region.
Is parking available?
Only limited parking is available near the Eggli valley station. The use of public transport or carpooling is expressly recommended.
