How do I get to the festival?
The festival takes place at Roel Langerakpark in Rotterdam. The entrance is beside the athletics track on the Mevlanaplein side.
If travelling by car, park at Sparta P5 car park (Horvathweg) – a parking ticket is required. On 8 August, a shuttle bus runs between Rotterdam Centraal Station (Conradstraat) and the festival site (Abraham van Stolkweg).
You can also travel by bike or e-scooter; bike parking is available near the entrance.
Is parking available?
Yes, a parking ticket can be purchased from the ticket shop. For the car park, navigate to Sparta P5 (Horvathweg). Show your ticket on your phone. Important: your car must be removed by 1am after the festival.
How old do I need to be to get in?
The minimum age for Blijdorp Festival is 18.
How do I pay on site?
The festival operates a cashless system. Card payments (PIN) are accepted throughout the site. No cash cards or tokens are sold.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Items not permitted include drugs, your own food and drinks, fireworks, weapons, glass bottles, umbrellas, selfie sticks, drones, professional recording equipment, aerosol cans (hairspray, deodorant, sunscreen), laser pointers and pepper spray.
Is the site accessible?
Blijdorp Festival is committed to accessibility. Most paths are wheelchair-accessible, and wheelchair-accessible toilets are available. The entrance is easily accessible by wheelchair, and assistance dogs are welcome. If you require additional support, please contact the festival by DM in advance.
Can I leave the site and return later?
Unfortunately, leaving the site and re-entering is not possible.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Only clearly identifiable assistance dogs are permitted.
