About this festival
BLIES Festival 2026 takes place on 8 August at Blies-See in Ludwigshafen. This one-day open-air festival is dedicated to house and groove, bringing electronic music to the lakeside. Two stages shape the programme from early afternoon into the evening, complemented by a food court and wine offerings.
The festival builds on the region’s electronic club culture with a curated selection of DJs. Its open lakeside setting provides a summery backdrop for a long festival day, without multi-day camping. BLIES is aimed at house and groove fans from the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, as well as guests looking for a compact one-day electronic festival. The programme begins in the early afternoon and ends in the evening, continuing the established series at Blies-See.

Is parking available?
Free parking is available. Access is via Ernst-Boehe-Straße.
How do I pay on site?
The festival operates a cashless system. You can pay directly by debit or credit card. Alternatively, prepaid cards can be purchased with credit at central stations.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may not bring your own food or drinks. Bags and rucksacks up to a maximum size of DIN A4 are permitted, as are power banks, medication in its original packaging and picnic blankets. Weapons, pyrotechnics, illegal drugs, bottles of any kind, parasols and camping chairs are prohibited.
Can I leave the site during the festival?
There is no re-entry. Once you leave the site, you cannot be admitted again.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Dogs and other pets are not allowed on the festival site.
