About this festival
The sixth edition of Beyond The Pale returns to Glendalough Estate in County Wicklow, Ireland, from 11 to 13 June 2027 for a weekend of music, art and food. Set among forests, lakes and open skies, it brings together international acts, homegrown favourites and emerging artists. The programme also features late-night beats, pop-up kitchens, saunas, cold plunges, morning yoga and opportunities to forage in nature, allowing festival time and relaxation to blend into one.
Staying overnight is central to the experience: every weekend ticket includes camping under the open sky, while those seeking more comfort can choose a caravan or campervan pitch or the boutique tent camp. The varied offering combines music, art, food and wellness for a multifaceted festival weekend in eastern Ireland.
Camping
Every weekend ticket includes camping on the festival site. You may bring your own tent up to the size of a six- to eight-person tent; teepees and large structures are not permitted. A caravan and campervan site is also available with a dedicated pass, alongside a fully serviced boutique campsite.
Questions & answers
Is parking available?
The car park is around a ten-minute walk from the camping area and is free of charge. Car-pooling is strongly encouraged.
Is the site accessible?
Accessibility applications for the 2027 edition will open shortly. The festival offers a dedicated accessible campsite and car park, as well as accessible toilets and showers in the camping area.
Can I leave the site and return during the festival?
Your weekend wristband allows you to leave and re-enter the site; last entry is at 10 pm each day. Tampered-with or removed wristbands will be confiscated and will not allow re-entry. Alcohol may not be brought in when re-entering the campsite.
Are there pitches for motorhomes?
Motorhomes and caravans require a separate camping/motorhome ticket. Roof tents are permitted but also require a camping/motorhome ticket. Tents and gazebos may not be erected on the motorhome pitches.
