About this festival
Affenkäfig Festival 2027 takes place from 11 to 12 June at Mendig Airfield and celebrates its fifth edition. The open-air electronic music festival transforms the former airfield in Rhineland-Palatinate into a rave and party area with several stages. Techno and electronic club music shape the festival’s programme, which is aimed at a young audience from the region and beyond.
Camping is available on site and forms part of the festival experience. Mendig Airfield near Koblenz provides extensive space for stages and infrastructure. Is parking available?
A large, monitored car park is available for the festival. Parking costs €20.00 and is valid for three days. It permits one entry only and is voided when you leave the car park.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry to Affenkäfig Festival is restricted to those aged 18 or over. Security checks will be carried out at the entrance; visitors should have their personal ticket ready and pay attention to the signs at the entry gates.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may not bring your own food or drinks onto the festival site. You may, however, bring food and drinks onto the campsite.
How long is the festival site open?
The festival site is open on Friday from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am, on Saturday from 3:00 pm to 5:30 am and on Sunday from 12 noon to 10:00 pm. Opening hours may be subject to minor changes.
