About Sounds of Switzerland
The Mountain Edition of the Sounds of Switzerland festival takes place on 14 and 15 August 2026 at Alp Grosser Schwyberg above Plasselb. This two-day open-air event in the canton of Fribourg brings electronic music to a mountain setting. Friday is dedicated to house, techno and drum and bass, while Saturday features progressive trance and psytrance. The edition is organised by the music and cultural collective Aergera (MUK Aergera).
The programme features 25 acts, including JILAX, MØDZE, KOVA, MEMENTO MORI, PHANTOM and DPRTVRE. The alpine venue can be reached via Gross Schwyberg 1 in Plasselb. Set in the heart of nature, the festival site has capacity for a limited number of guests. Tickets start at CHF 49, and online advance sales end on 13 August. After a year away, Sounds of Switzerland returns in 2026 with this mountain edition, focusing on an intimate festival atmosphere away from the larger venues.
