INOTA Festival

From 26 to 29 August 2027, the decommissioned Inota power station near Várpalota will become the setting for a festival of sound and image. By day, its glass-block turbine hall serves as an exhibition space; by night, it becomes a stage. Further stages are set between the three sixty-metre cooling towers and in the surrounding woodland. Large-scale light installations incorporate the industrial backdrop, shaping the long festival nights.

Electronic music leads the programme, from techno to harder club sounds. More relaxed sets take place in the Bedouin tent as the sun disappears behind the towers. Those wishing to stay overnight can camp directly beside the site; the camping ticket is valid for the full festival duration and is not available by day. Travel is via Budapest Déli, with hourly trains to Várpalota and shuttle buses from there to the entrance. Parking is outside the festival area, and payments on site are cashless.
