Marlon Hoffstadt

Marlon Hoffstadt is a Berlin DJ and producer who combines electronic dance music with the playful spirit of his alter ego, DJ Daddy Trance. Somewhere between trance and hard house, he is not interested in genre boundaries, but in those moments when an entire dance floor comes together.

Raised in Berlin, Hoffstadt was already DJing in the city’s clubs at the age of 15. His first EP followed in 2012, and he founded his own label, Well Done!. He later created space for disco, house, techno, electro and breaks across different dance floors with Savour the Moment, a party series at Renate. A new chapter began in 2020 under the DJ Daddy Trance alias, bringing pop elements more strongly into his productions.

Hoffstadt scored an early scene hit with Dansson in 2013 with “Shake That”, though the pressure that followed took its toll. Years later, “Call Me” and “It’s That Time” reached a wide audience, while a joint Boiler Room set with Malugi was viewed millions of times. In May 2025, he played the Mainstage at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas in front of 70,000 people; in 2026, “Makina Time” and his collaborators entered the German singles charts.

Today, his music brings together the energy of trance and hard house with the pop appeal that has shaped his reinvention. His sets are built for a dance floor that does not just dance, but sings along and smiles too.
