DJ Gigola

DJ Gigola, born Paulina Schulz, is a Berlin-based DJ and producer who playfully crosses genre boundaries in electronic music. Her artist name itself brings opposites together: the dancing woman and the playboy, movement and transformation.

Before stepping behind the decks herself, she organised parties and events with the Live From Earth artist collective. After studying medicine, her path gradually led from her own productions to DJ performances. Her collaborations with Kev Koko are also part of the Live From Earth circle.

Her debut album, “Fluid Meditations”, was released on Live From Earth and explores the connection between dance and meditative states. Her performances have taken her from Berlin clubs such as Berghain to open-air parties, including a Live From Earth event in London. A sunset open-air set in Berlin has remained particularly memorable to her, as she was only rarely able to perform in front of an audience during the pandemic.

Today, her sets bring together techno, rap, trance and experimental club music. What may seem far apart on paper is united on the dancefloor through rhythm and groove. A DJ Gigola set can therefore take unexpected turns without losing its thread for dancing.
