Das Modul

Das Modul brought German dance music into the charts in the 1990s. The project was created by producers Felix J. Gauder and Olaf Roberto Bossi. Yasemin Baysal and Dierk Schmidt became its public faces in videos and live performances, while Bossi provided much of the vocals.

It began with an old record: while browsing, Gauder and Bossi discovered Paso Doble’s „Computerliebe“ and decided to record it anew. After Baysal’s departure, Denise Hameley initially sang for the project; Keren May joined as vocalist in 1998.

„Computerliebe“ became a major hit in early 1995, reaching the Top 10 in Germany and Austria, selling 440,000 copies and earning Gold. That summer, „Kleine Maus“ kept the momentum going with sales of 350,000 copies. „Frühlingsgefühle“ also reached the Top 30 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 1996.

Following a long break, Gauder and Bossi announced their comeback in November 2023. Since then, they have performed as a trio with the returning Baysal. The project remains rooted in Eurodance and Trance, releasing the new track „Virus“ in 2025.
