CHARLEEN HERZIG

Berlin DJ and content creator CHARLEEN HERZIG pairs electronic music with an approach that stands out in the rave scene: she parties and DJs without alcohol or drugs. Her sound sits between trance and bounce, drawing on hard trance and hard techno.

She first built a public following on Instagram, sharing club outfits, make-up and upcycling tips. As her community followed her through rave and techno culture, she gradually developed her DJ career.

A defining festival moment came in 2026 with her appearance at Parookaville in Weeze. After being subjected to a sexist insult during an interview, she made the incident public and spoke out about the devaluation of FLINTA artists.

Beyond moments like these, she uses her reach to talk about consumption in the techno scene and advocate sober partying. For late-night or early sets, she relies on sleep rather than stimulants – for her, sober DJing is simply DJing.
